In memory of my Dear Sweet Daddy. In memory of Julian Bond, the prominent Civil Rights Activist who, with Morris Dees, Co-Founded the Southern Poverty Law Center, a nonprofit Civil Rights organization, in Montgomery, Alabama. Bond served as its President from 1971 to 1979. He also was an emeritus member of the Southern Poverty Law Center Board of Directors at the time of his death in 2015. Special thanks to Morris Dees, Founder and Civil Rights trial lawyer of the Southern Poverty Law Center, for his tireless efforts in conducting investigations of various hate groups, which continue to prevail throughout the United States to date. The Southern Poverty Law Center is internationally known for its work in toppling some of the nation’s largest white supremacist hate groups by helping victims of racist violence sue in civil court.
